Up for sale is a 1949 Diamond T on a 1989 Chevy Chassis with an excellent smooth running, very tight 350 Chevy engine. Entire frame has been reconditioned and painted, the truck has a custom fuel tank but the gas gauge is currently not working the rest of the gauges work, air horns, side panels that open for access to the motor, and stainless steel smoke stacks. The body needs some body work done, and a little paint touch up, the driver side side window has cracks but is flat glass and very easy to replace. The truck still could use some custom interior work to make it 100% the dashboard looks to be solid walnut and has original speed gauges but doesnt have the converter plugto make it work with the newer tranny and has had electronics converted to 12v. This truck is guaranteed to draw you more attention than you have ever seen. I drove this truck 2 hours from watertown NY at about 75mph with no problems at all and had to endure hand waves and thumbs up the whole way home. This truck needs 1 of those bobbing hand wavers to save your arms, if you want to promote your business or classic car or tractor shows the truck also had a fifth wheel on it to pull a camper but the spot is still there where you could mount one back on to pull a flat bed trailer or fifth wheel. This truck will give you everything you need to be a show stopper. This truck is also on E Bay if you are interested in buying.
